The Smurfs teaser Trailer

Posted on 01:30 by Unknown

The Smurfs 3D movie will be released in August next year 2011. They have released a teaser trailer.

“Opening in theaters on August 3, 2011, the Raja Gosnell-directed film also stars Jayma Mays, Sofia Vergara, Hank Azaria, Anton Yelchin, Jonathan Winters, Katy Perry, Alan Cumming, Fred Armisen, George Lopez, Paul Reubens, John Oliver, Kenan Thompson, B.J. Novak, Jeff Foxworthy, Wolfgang Puck, Gary Basaraba and Tim Gunn.

In the 3D adaptation, evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village and they tumble from their magical world into ours — in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.”

FYI, Toy Story 3 is out today in cinema. Video after the break.

Movie: The Expendables

Posted on 04:21 by Unknown

This is the movie I’m waiting for the release, will be shown in cinema in August 13. The movie is directed by Sylvester Stallone. Featuring Sylvester Stallone himself, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Giselle Itie, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Randy Couture, Steve Austin. Yeah all the famous stars. Synopsis and trailer after the break.

Here’s the summary of the movie:
THE EXPENDABLES is a hard—hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge – one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers. Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) is a man with nothing to lose. Fearless and void of emotion, he is the leader, the sage and the strategist of this tight—knit band of men who live on the fringe. His only attachment is to his pickup truck, his seaplane and his team of loyal modern—day warriors. His is a true cynic who describes what he does as “removing those hard to get at stains.” The team behind him is made up of Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), former SAS and a savant with anything that has a blade; Yin Yang (Jet Li), a master at close—quarter combat; Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), who has known Barney for ten years and is a long—barrel weapons specialist; Toll Road (Randy Couture), a skilled demolitions expert and considered the intellect of the group; and Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), a combat veteran and an expert in precision sniping who struggles with his own demons. When the mysterious Church offers Barney a job no one else would take, Barney and his team embark on what appears to be a routine mission: overthrow General Gaza (David Zayas), the murderous dictator of the small island country of Vilena and end the years of death and destruction inflicted on its people. On a reconnaissance mission to Vilena, Barney and Christmas meet their contact Sandra (Giselle Itie), a local freedom—fighter with a dark secret. They also come to learn who their true enemy is: rogue ex—CIA operative James Monroe (Eric Roberts) and his henchman Paine (Steve Austin). When things go terribly wrong, Barney and Christmas are forced to leave Sandra behind, essentially giving her a death sentence. Haunted by this failure, Barney convinces the team to return to Vilena to rescue the hostage and finish the job he started. And to perhaps save a soul: his own.

What the?!? Its War Machine!!!

Posted on 01:34 by Unknown

Don’t we all go crazy if we were able to buy a mask exactly like Iron Man in the movie, with the glowing lights and computerized HUD in the helmet? When it comes to Iron Man and Iron Man 2, all man, and some women, will turn into kids screaming like babies. There’s a little bit of suit envy in us all. How cool would it be to have one of those suits? Isn’t that dream bizarre?

Well, one nut head Iron Man fan had set up on making his dreams come true. He may not be able to fly or bring about world peace by single-handedly fighting off the bad guys of the world, but he does seemed to be the coolest guy in the block.

Check out the video after the break.

Popular Science interviewed 25-year-old Anthony Le, the crazy Iron Man fan that made the replica suit. The first trial is described as ‘more of a costume,’ while the second attempt was built in time for the release of Iron Man 2’s show time, and is a lot more complex. Boasting a dent-proof exterior, a motorized faceplate and a spinning mock Gatling gun, Le decided to focus on the more hardcore looking War Machine with this build. Le didn’t mentioned about the materials used, and judging from the comments on the Pop Sci article (which link to comments from Myth Buster’s Adam Savage on the Replica Prop Forums), he’s very protective of his “secret.”

However, from the Pop Sci piece, it is said to cost around $4,000 to build. The armor comprised of thin, high-impact urethane, cut onto plates and joined with roughly 1,500 rivets and washers. The gun is built out of PVC piping and a motor and the helmet was made from a sculpted clay mold and liquid resin. There’s also a faceplate with integrated small motor so it opens and closes just like the movie, and batteries inside the costume power the gun, faceplate and an assortment of LEDs.
