It is called the Little Black Dresser, it is built not to wear on your body but to keep your clothes or other junks. This furniture was designed by Vancouver based artist Judson Beaumont. More pictures after the break.

Don’t you think this chair is so beautiful in its own aspect? This is the design concept by Italian Designer Fabio Novembre, named the Nemo Chair (*luckily not the Emo Chair), which is a leisure chair. If you really like it, you can actually buy it, cause its up for sale at a store named Driade Store, over at Milan Design Week.
Fabio Novembre usually uses his home furniture to speak of his ideas, and the topic would usually be “humane”. Well this chair might just be a fusion of both metaphor and imaginations. And he usually shows his perfectionist’s idea and examples through his creations.
Martview is a new app that allows us to read magazines and books, even comics through one simple software. Users can just browse through a good amount of categories, and download those magazines that they like. Once downloaded, those books will be stored in your computer, and you can view them at any time at any place. Simple as that. They even support touchscreen.

Every year, a large sum of tax payers funded money is spent into military funding. Often then not, these funding includes huge and dull screens that are static and does not include any form of hard exercise. So now, the Army in the States is trying out a more immersive approach with a new training helmet that allows trainees to progress around in a virtual environment ala “Counter Strike” style.
According to Wired: “Defense firm Cubic announced yesterday that it had won a $4.8 million contract to supply 27 COMBATREDI systems to the Florida Army National Guard, along with four Warrior Skills Trainers, a vehicle simulator that works with COMBATREDI. It’s the first sale of COMBATREDI, which the company rolled out at a simulation and training conference last December. “
Unlike typical point-and-shoot-dummies training, COMBATERDI is a mobile device worn on the helmet, which projects high-definition virtual surroundings into their mounted OLED display, with sounds coming out from the integrated 3D stereo headset. Other equipments includes wireless, scoped sim rifle that contains artificial magazines and real-life feedbacks.
This doesn’t seemed to be what common civilians would really need, unless you do have a friend that really annoys you with his/her nonstop texting habit. Then this little ugly painting might just be what you really need in your living room.
Dub the Painting Cell Phone Jammer, this somewhat generic piece of so-called art does more than just sit there and increase your house’s luxury points by few. It also comes with frequency blockers, which allows you to block specific cell phone frequencies, either on full mode, or just for a moment. All this can be done with a niche remote, allowing you to be rather inconspicuous about things. At $150, this expensive and yet ugly piece of art works in an 80-metre radius. Finally you can be part of the Secret Service! Though I can assume other evil bosses will also love this ugly painting for some other reasons.
Don’t we all go crazy if we were able to buy a mask exactly like Iron Man in the movie, with the glowing lights and computerized HUD in the helmet? When it comes to Iron Man and Iron Man 2, all man, and some women, will turn into kids screaming like babies. There’s a little bit of suit envy in us all. How cool would it be to have one of those suits? Isn’t that dream bizarre?
Well, one nut head Iron Man fan had set up on making his dreams come true. He may not be able to fly or bring about world peace by single-handedly fighting off the bad guys of the world, but he does seemed to be the coolest guy in the block.

Popular Science interviewed 25-year-old Anthony Le, the crazy Iron Man fan that made the replica suit. The first trial is described as ‘more of a costume,’ while the second attempt was built in time for the release of Iron Man 2’s show time, and is a lot more complex. Boasting a dent-proof exterior, a motorized faceplate and a spinning mock Gatling gun, Le decided to focus on the more hardcore looking War Machine with this build. Le didn’t mentioned about the materials used, and judging from the comments on the Pop Sci article (which link to comments from Myth Buster’s Adam Savage on the Replica Prop Forums), he’s very protective of his “secret.”
However, from the Pop Sci piece, it is said to cost around $4,000 to build. The armor comprised of thin, high-impact urethane, cut onto plates and joined with roughly 1,500 rivets and washers. The gun is built out of PVC piping and a motor and the helmet was made from a sculpted clay mold and liquid resin. There’s also a faceplate with integrated small motor so it opens and closes just like the movie, and batteries inside the costume power the gun, faceplate and an assortment of LEDs.
