My Reading and Writing in English
About the usage of grammar, I can easily understand the basic part. I find it difficult to think of a word that can fit best when writing English. Since childhood, I haven’t read books for entertainment so I cannot understand much when going into the deeper meaning of the words or what we call reading between the lines. That is the reason why I hate reading and writing English but I will try my best to improve on them. I have difficulty especially in understanding uncommon English words and I hope to improve on it. I expect that I would be able to read and write English better. It takes me hours when reading a book and because of it, it takes up a lot of my time when I’m studying. I am hoping that I would be able to read faster while understanding it and not just scanning it. I expect to have fun in this class and also expect to learn a lot from this not just in academics but also in real life situations. I think that this course will greatly help me in achieving my goals. I would be glad if this course can help me ignite my interest in reading and writing because I know it will be a great help in life. It is usually from this learning where we gain knowledge for the better of our future.
