BlackBerry Bold 9780 on the horizon?

Posted on 03:27 by Unknown

Yes, it seemed, as we’re looking at leaks from many sources like Vodafone Netherlands, T-Mobile UK, and Orange. This seemed to be a pretty wide-scale global launch of the refreshed QWERTY smartphone from RIM. Well, there’s no harm to sticking to a design that’s already great right? The Bold 9780 is essentially a polished Bold 9700 with better 5-Megapixel camera, and a beefed up 512MB RAM to handle the preloaded new BlackBerry 6 OS. When’s it coming? Well Vodafone Netherlands says that it’s going to be available sometime in November. So if you loved your current Bold 9700, perhaps you’d be interested in this improved version, since I see it pretty hard to have RIM update your Bold 9700 with the BlackBerry 6. You’ll have a hard time finding enough free space after that update anyway.
